Museum of Traditional Krafts The area of the museum includes some country building, each one is dedicated
to a different kraft. They have a carpenter ther, a blacksmith, a potter,
a cheesmaker, a baker, a weaver. All things are made in a old way, like
our ancestors used to make it in the beginning of the last century. You
will have an opportunity to watch the process, to try to do something
yourself and to taste the results. In the exebition room are displayed
traditional costumes, instruments and daily life things. The restaurant
will offer you very tipical belarusian dishes, which also have a long
history. It is better to spend in Dudutki a whole day, because there is
mach to see. Another shot of Mirsky Castle It includes castle, palace, park and chapel-vault. Mirsky Castle was
built from the clay by the Illinichis in the beginning of the 16 centure.
From 1568 it belonged to the Radzivills, after- the Vitgenshteins, the
Svyatopolk-Mirskys. The plan of the castle is close to the square. By
the coners it has five-floor tower and there is a fifth six-floor tower
with entrance gates in the middle of the western wall. In front the gates
is a bridge and moat. There is a belfry in the tower. On the first floor
there is the chapel and in the basement - prison. |
